Fresh out of the shop, Bryce Waite’s gloss-black ’40 Mercury made the run up to Pinetop-Lakeside for the Run to the Pines car show and came home with three: Builder’s Choice, Best Paint, and 1st in Class for 1936–1948 Street Rod Sedans.
